Job Description

Maintainer
LOCATION:                            Districtwide
HOURS:                                  7:00AM - 3:30 PM and 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM  
EFFECTIVE:                           Immediate Vacancy   
REPORTS TO:                       Building Administrators, Head Custodian & Director of Facilities and Operations
RESPONSIBILITIES:             Repairs, cleans, and assists in installation of alarm system; HVAC control; Inspects, repairs, and installs electrical equipment, computer wiring, etc.; Supervises unskilled personnel or semi-skilled assigned to assist in maintenance duties; Maintains tools, equipment, and work area.

Job Qualifications

• Graduation from a vocational or trade school AND one year of experience in performing general or specialized maintenance and repair tasks in buildings, and on various types of machinery, equipment, furniture, and tools; OR three years of satisfactory experience as outlined above.
• The successful candidate will need to be fingerprinted through NYS TEACH.
