DIRECTOR OF PHYSICAL EDUCATION, HEALTH EDUCATION & ATHLETICS - PROBATIONARY 

The Baldwin Union Free School District is an award-winning K-12 public school district located on Long Island in Baldwin, NY. With a total enrollment of approximately 4500, the district consists of seven schools: Baldwin High School, Baldwin Middle School, and 5 elementary schools. The district's award-winning athletics program encompasses more than 50 modified, junior varsity, and varsity teams between Baldwin Middle School and Baldwin High School and has secured millions in scholarships. Dozens of championships have been won across various sports, including a dynasty Girl's Basketball Team (New York State Federation Champions). RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Provide effective leadership in the administration and supervision of K-12 physical education, health education, interscholastic athletics, and intramural programs
• Promote good sportsmanship and good health through direct and positive interactions with students, coaches, teachers, staff and administrators
• Establish positive communication with the community and media

• NYS SDA or SDL & Physical Education certification
• Teaching, coaching and administrative experience preferred
