Job Description

SPEECH AND LANGUAGE THERAPIST - PROBATIONARY

LOCATION: TBD
HOURS: School Days
EFFECTIVE: 2026-2027 School Year
REPORTS TO: Building Administrator(s)

Job Qualifications

• Evaluate, assess, and screen students using appropriate standardized testing and clinical observational skills
• Provide speech/language therapy according to student's IEPs
• Work cohesively with school programs on coordination of speech-language services from school to home
• Experience with Augmentative and Alternative Communication Devices preferred
• Collaborate with teaching and support staff to plan and implement targeted instruction to ensure generalization of skills
• TSSLD Certification
