Job Description

LONG TERM SUBSTITUTE SOCIAL WORKER

EFFECTIVE: Immediately- June 30, 2026
LOCATION: Plaza Elementary School
REPORTS TO: Building Administrators, Director of Pupil Services
RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Implement and manage mandated counseling cases
• Implement and manage school-wide non-mandated counseling groups
• Assist with implementation of the school's Social-Emotional Learning Program
• Assist with annual review meetings/process
• Participate in building-level Response to Intervention meetings
• Ability to follow district protocol when reporting to Child Protective Services

Job Qualifications

• Must hold current NYS certification as a Social Worker
