Job Description

SCHOOL PSYCHOLOGIST- PROBATIONARY

LOCATION:               TBD
HOURS:                     School Days
EFFECTIVE:              2026-2027 School Year
REPORTS TO:          Building Administrator(s), Pupil Services Administrators

Job Qualifications

• Must hold current NYS certification as a School Psychologist (w/ BCBA Preferred)
• Must have experience with elementary students in life skills program.  (6:1:1/8:1:1)
• Experience conducting evaluations (Initial and Reevaluations)
• Must have extensive experience with Applied Behavior Analysis, including conducting and completing FBA/BIPs 
• CPI experience a plus
• Experience implementing crisis intervention plans and/or crisis intervention techniques
• Must have excellent oral and written language abilities
• Knowledgeable of Response to Intervention processes and Multi-Tiered System of Supports
• Experience chairing Child Study/Child Find/Sub CSE & 504 meetings
• Bilingual a plus
